It is so great to see the flag on the fronts of houses,and businesses. I hope people leave them out the whole summer.

getting ready for the weekend

Busy ... filling the pool, hosing off the the lawn furniture, adding bbq sauce, paper plates and chips to shopping list... We are looking forward to America's official start to summer... A reminder: add hanging the flag to your TO-DO list. A small one perched on the mailbox or tucked into a planter, maybe add a bracket and pole.
Let's start the summer off with the American Flag proudly waving to the world around us.

frayed flags

If you see a frayed or worn flag it is OKAY to drop them a note.
A gentle and polite reminder is best. Maybe offer to help them dispose of the old one properly or provide information about where they can it.

Many of us take the flag in during a rain, how about re hanging your flag out today. Even if you don t have a flag pole bracket, it looks great as a banner.
